I’m Tyra Quetawki, daughter of Michele and Gerald Quetawki Sr of the Pueblo of Zuni, New Mexico. My clans are Eagle and Child of a Coyote. As a third-year Art Studio major focused in digital and film photography; I’m excited about the opportunity to influence the creativity of digital arts that positively impact The University of New Mexico community as well as addressing the connections that exist in higher education between general knowledge and traditional stories.

It’s an honor to serve as a university ambassador & I look forward to meeting and connecting with as many individuals as possible throughout my reign!

Thank you! May you all continue a blessed journey.
